What's the Problem?

BAD NEWS:

Picture
10 out of 10 people die.  Think about it… one day we will all die.  While this should seem scary most people think they are good enough to go to heaven.  Let’s see if that’s true.  God has given you a conscience that tells you right from wrong.  For example: you know it’s wrong to lie, but we have all lied.  You know it’s wrong to gossip, but we have all spoke about people in a harmful way.  God calls you to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, but we have not.  We have placed many things before Him (money, entertainment, lust, self, pride, religion, family, friends, comfort, etc.)  The conscience that God has given us condemns us  Please don't play the game of  trying to convince everyone you are a good person.  God sees our every thought, word, and deed.  And while we may deceive those around us, God is not deceived… He knows the desires of our heart!  The Bible says that if we claim to be without sin we are liars.  Maybe you think that because God is good He will overlook your sins.  Please listen, because God is good He will judge us.  Are you angry when evil is committed against you?   How much more is God angry when we commit evil against Him? (all sins committed are against God.)  The Bible says, “God is angry with the wicked everyday” Psalm 7:11 and “there is none who does good” Psalm 14:3 and “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” Hebrews 9:27.  What I tell you I tell you in love.  God will judge you for your sin, and you will be cast into the lake of fire for eternity.  No hope… no second chance.

What's the Solution?

GOOD NEWS:

Did you know that God made a way for you to escape eternal judgment in the lake of fire?  He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  But how can God, the good judge, set you free when you are guilty?  “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US” Romans 5:8.  Talk about love and mercy!  Jesus Christ once suffered for sin.  He was perfect and paid a debt He did not owe.  Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead.  He defeated sin and death thus backing up all that He taught (including that He is God).  Praying a prayer, religion, spirituality, church, your pastor or priest, trying to be good, etc. cannot save you.  They cannot take away your sin.  It is the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross that washes away sins.  He was punished not for anything He did wrong (He was perfect), but for what you and I are guilty of.  That is why Jesus is the only way because He is the only one that provided the payment for our sin.  Believe it.  Turn to the one who can save you.  His name is Jesus Christ (the Savior of the world).  He will make you a new creation and give you a new heart and new desires.    Remember, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” James 4:6.  Don’t let your pride send you to hell.  Look unto God the Savior and live.
